Westlife is an Irish pop band that was formed on July 3, 1998. They were signed on by Simon Cowell and are currently managed by Louis Walsh. Over the years, Westlife's music has evolved from teen pop to an adult contemporary sound, with an emphasis on ballads.
They garnered 14 number one singles in the United Kingdom, the third-highest in UK history, tying with Cliff Richard and tailing behind Elvis Presley and The Beatles. The band has also won numerous awards such as the "Best Irish Pop Act" at the annual Ireland Meteor Awards and ITV "Record of the Year" award in the UK. The band has also broken a few top records, including "Music artist with most consecutive number 1's in the UK" and the "Biggest selling arena act in the UK". Westlife have had 14 UK no.1's and were the first act in UK history to have 4 number 1s in a year. Not only that, they were the only band to have no.1's with their first 7 singles. All the rest of their hits have got to the top 10, if not the top 5.

Westlife was Irish boyband Westlife's debut studio album and was released on November 1, 1999 in the UK.
The album was put out after releasing three singles, namely "Swear It Again", "If I Let You Go" and "Flying Without Wings", all of which were UK #1 singles.
The album charted at #2 in the UK and remains as the only Westlife album to date to chart in the US, peaking at #129 on the Billboard 200. It also peaked at #15 in Australia.
In December that same year, the double a-side single "I Have A Dream"/"Seasons In The Sun" became the Christmas #1 single of the year, and it remains as the most successful single of the band. In March 2000, the fifth and final single from the album, "Fool Again", was released and also debuted at #1.
With this, Westlife achieved five #1 singles from the same album in less than a year, a record that remains unbroken to date.

Turnaround was the fifth album by Irish boy band Westlife and it was released on 24 November 2003.
The first single released was the upbeat track, "Hey Whatever". The song is essentially a cover of Irish rock band Relish's Rainbow Zephyr but with a slightly changed set of lyrics and a different song title.
The next single was a cover of the Barry Manilow hit, "Mandy". The band's version was an instant hit, earning them their 12th UK number one and an Irish record of the year award.
"Obvious", an original song, was the third and final single released from this album.
"Turnaround" was the last album to feature former band member Bryan McFadden.

Allow Us to Be Frank, a ratpack tribute album, was the sixth album by Irish boyband Westlife and it was released on 8 November 2004. Peaked at #1 in Ireland and #3 in UK, being their lowest charting album released to-date. It was able to be at #24 in 2004 UK Year-end Album charts.
The songs, "Ain't That A Kick In The Head", "Smile" and "Fly Me To The Moon", were released as digital downloads and radio promotional singles.
The album also features songs made popular by Frank Sinatra such as "Fly Me to the Moon", "The Way You Look Tonight", "Come Fly With Me", "Moon River", "Summer Wind" and "That's Life". It also includes the famous Nat "King" Cole song, "When I Fall in Love".
